Very simple plumbing question
I have been plagued by a leak from my bathroom, thru the ceiling, to the kitchen. Water had been pooling, but I have traced the leak and it is not that bad - all that needs doing is the nut to the tap being tightened.
I want to make sure when I try that I do actually tighten it, so what way do I go - clockwise or anti clockwise.

Additionally, if it's a simple "tap" with a handle on top and serves only the hot or cold water individually, simply tightening the nut under the handle will probably suffice. However, don't over tighten it... this could have unintended consequences. You may wish to think about replaicng the washer inside the tap since this is most likely the source of your leak. At any rate, Good Luck!
