Hi, We are having our porch roof repaired this week as we have a leak thats caused a lot of mould. Once this is done we hope to get it decorated again and know there is something we should apply to the wall/cieling before its re decotared. Does anyone know the best thing to use. Thanks DD

Thanks The builder. I had heard that was ok for washing it down before repainting.

We thought there was also some sort of sealer to put on before repainting it..

DIY warehouses and shops don't have a clue half the time. Its better to get the info from people who work at the job every day eh! I guess by your name you have loads of experience.

Hi droop,it's called Interior Seal Damp and it's made by Blackfriar priced about 6.99 for a 250ml tin.I've used it a few times and it does the trick. No stains come through the final paint covering.
