Mould spots in shower cubicle.

I've asked this before, but can't find the thread.

Is there any way that I can remove the ulgy black spots from the sealant between the tiles and the shower tray?

They are impossible to scratch or scrape off, so any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I,ve used a spray bleach on mine and the marks went away. Don't know if it's a long term solution though

Dettol Mould & Mildew Remover

Buy at at the supermarket or Wilkinsons etc. or online.

Get someone to rip it out and re-do it (Only takes half an hour......Then remember.....LEAVE THE SHOWER DOOR OPEN to dry the tiles, then you should'nt get the mould!!! Cheers, John

Thanks to you also, johntywino. This sounds like a councel of despiration - and, yes, I always leave the cubicle and shower-room doors open.

Noone has suggestef painting over the spots - would this work?

I've just been out to buy some Dettol mould and mildew remover - and it works.

Well, it should. The active ingredient is sodium hypochlorite (bleach)!
