Anyone any hints on drilling a 12-14mm hole for a 2nd tap in an 18/10 stainless steel sink??? Thanks John

Hard work, and not to be undertaken lightly. Ideally, you want to get one of these. It shears through the metal as it's tightened. But you'd need to drill a pilot hole for it. Tips on drilling stainless steel here. Drill too fast and without lubricant and the drill bit will get red hot and useless very quickly.

Thanks heathfield.... I took your advice,bought a 12mm tungsten drill from B&q, Punched the spot (from underside) Drilled a pilot then finished the job! Brilliant....The drill cost �12.70 but what the hell-it had to be done! Thanks again. John.
