I've read that the upgraded 'bumphukkit' bracket that allows for maximum pressure without foregoing flexibilty, can be unsafe at speeds of less than Mach 2.
It has actually disintrigrated & caused the throstle valve to melt & any synchronistation of the wheel is lost.
I wouldn't advise re-mapping the governor chip unless the throstle is performing less than 80%. This could increase the risk of it cutting out and is a pain to get started again.
ah thanks chuck - I thought they were all sarcy answers but then sometimes its hard to tell with you guys - you're so convincing (or I am gullible) hehe
I tried to google too - just comes up with Tristan, 40,
Ack! So that explains the rattling I've had for the past 6 months. Nice one Zacs. I'd put it down to the oscillator being out of sequence with the lever A. I'll check it out tonight.
