Can someone tell me the official name of this type of bolt please, I'm sure it must have one.
here
Where have all the old fashioned hardware stores gone?...the nice man in a brown overall & a pencil behind his ear would know what I meant by 'twisty, bolty thingy' (even if it hadn't been invented).

I can't make my mind up about him neti, I s'pose he could create a mini amazon forest in the garden for me while he went off to the real thing...don't think that would be quite your thing tho' would it...hahaha...'not in neti's back yard'
Hi Neti. I found when I was the first post on the next page it took ages for it to appear and I thought it hadn't worked. I think it was the beginning of the last page and I repeated myself ooops! Looks like the same happened to you.
I had to tell a little white lie about the parking but nobody was hurt by it so I didn't feel too guilty. He he !!
Who the dickens is Amazon John then? (And if Kit is reading that it's not a rude expression - just old English like me)

Got a Jacket potato in the oven and it smells lovely I'm really hungry.
JUDE!! (said in very large bold letters) you lied?? Well I think you had better begone!

And anyway, I already have a mini rainforest on my land so am halfway there!

Jude, he is Olivia Neutron Bomb's husband and I think (from frist glance) that he is rather tasty!!

there's something a bit odd about him, I don't like the way he talks out of the side of his mouth (they were on some prog together recently, not Graham N)...maybe he's had some 'work' done too & they've over-tightened one side of his face..you can see him here Jude, in a fashion, the American videos are a bit distorted...guess what I had to eat? yep, soup, haha....it was nice - not homemade though. Why, when you've got a bad throat do you keep swallowing to see if it still hurts? :o)

oh yes, the link, sorry

You're right Robi he's definitely a bit odd. He doesn't float my boat!!
Having seen that clip I have to agree with you - he looks a bit queer to me (if you know what I mean!)

good morning...ooooh, better get these heaters lit it's very cold today
It's national poetry day apparently...

Autumn mists and the leaves are gone,
I'd better put some wooly drawers on.

what did you expect? tut
Morning folk. Been busy for a couple of days despite limping around with sciatic pain which is near killing me. I am surviving on pills and hot and cold packs. Hope you are on the mend Robinia and Swedie. Is Shaney still stuck out in the cold?

Went to see Rob Brydon on Tuesday night and he was brilliant. I haven't laughed so much in ages. I think that is what set my sciatica off - sitting in a theatre seat for three hours!! However, we went to see my hero, Ben Fogel yesterday pm in Kings Lynn. An audience with.............. and he was amazing. The first of the shows for him and he did so well. Just spoke for about an hour and a half about his life, etc, including his adventures and then invited questions. A really unassuming and genuine young man and what a dish!!! The sciatica was killing me and I kept having to shuffle around in my seat - I bet I was popular with those sitting behind - but I was determined to get to see him.

Am now about to close the computer down because sitting is worse than standing or walking around. So it's a choice between going back to bed or staying on my feet all day?

See you folks soon.

Gud Moaning.
tis sunny and they forecast rain.
Ill never trust that bbc again..:O)

The sky was dark
the moon was high
all alone
just her and I

Her hair so soft
her eyes so blue
I knew just what
she wanted to do

Her skin so soft
her legs so fine
I ran my fingers
down her spine

I didn't know how
but I tried my best
to place my hand
on her breast

I remember my fear
my fast beating heart
but slowly she spread
her legs apart

And when she did
I felt no shame
as all at once
the white stuff came

At last it was finished
it's all over now,
my first time
...milking a cow. hehe..!(*_*)
I thought cows had brown eyes?
I didnt see you there lottie.
Glad you enjoyed yourself and hope you feel better soon. The cows eyes were blue cos the moon was shining (:O)
Oooh Lotty, I feel for you. I have had sciatica and there's nothing worse than not being able to sit comfortably. Hope it goes soon for you.x

Vinny you little devil !! Made me laugh yet again.

Off for my last appt, of the week thank God. I'm fed up with them. Still even though it's cold it's a beautiful sunny day to cheer me up so I'll be walking later. Don't know what I'll do when it's winter's dark and dreary days will I feel like walking then I wonder.

Hope you're feeling better too Robi. I've started putting my heating on for a few hours in the evening as well.

See yer later 'gater(s) x
Oh I see!! :o) I'm limping off now. More hot and cold treatments necessary before I attempt to go shopping. And shop I must otherwise we won't be eating.................

Nice to see you Vin.
Morning all - oh poor Lottie now, my back was twingeing a bit on Tuesday but came to nothing thank heavens. Are we all collapsing in a heap?

Vinny I was amazed until the very end!

It is so incredibly hot here (again) the sweat just pouring off, hate it hate it, and even worse, the bonfire time has arrived (Oct - April) so now every fine morning we are covered in smoke, so washing smells awful, hate it hate it!
*amazed* as in gobsmacked!!!
I am now typing standing up and I am really cheesed off. Hot and cold packs didn't work. My whole back is hurting like it's been twisted and if I raise my right leg it is excrutiating. I need to shop (which means driving) and I wanted to plant some bulbs out today. It is beautiful out there too. I have achieved sweet Fanny Adams this morning. Groan, groan, groan...........................
Lottie, if I remember right, you had a super-duper computer chair, doesn't that help? when my back plays up I found that the driver's seat was the most comfortable to sir in, although impossible to turn round to check traffic!!!!
