Draughty and noisy double glazing
2 Answers
When I moved into my house 20 years ago it had aluminum double glazing. As time has gone on the draught excluder brush strips around some of the windows have worn which is letting in the cold and also the noise from the traffic outside. I have been advised that it is very dificult to renew the original brush strips. Is it possible to add a thin draught excluder seal around each window or will it damage the window fit? Any suggestions for a good thing draught excluder strip?
Thanks
