I have a 25amp flex outlet which I'm intending to use just outside bathroom to connect an electric toothbrush. Would this be okay or should I get a smaller ampage.
If you have an Adapter you could use the Electric Razor Socket if you have one instead.
The whole of the UK could clean their teeth at the same time with that 25 Amp one you have got ! lol
Clearly a wind-up - but many of us are not to be caught out.
A flex capable of handling 25A at mains voltage could drive an appliance rated at over 6kW. Yerr average electric toothbrush takes around 5W to drive it. You could get a thousand such devices running off a cable that big.
Thx BM. The toothbrush was for years previously attached to a 13amp plug socket. I was preffering something not open like a flex outlet. Can i use a 13amp outlet or better with a less powerful one.
