Key to lock
Hi All
All the doors in my house are the original doors and are beautiful. Everyone of them have the old brass ball knob onto a lock with keyhole.
The trouble is there are no keys to any of the locks.
My question is, is it possible to get keys to locks if I remove the lock and take it to a locksmith?
Cheers

The locks should still be readily available from an old style hardware store...and as internal doors only have 2 or 3 levers in the lock. They tend to be fairly cheap if they need to be replaced (giving you new keys).... to identify the size of your lock, measure from the front edge to the back edge of the case... ( in inches).

New keys can be cut if taken to a proper locksmith. If the locks do not work they could probably be repaired or replacements found that will still fit with your handles and key hole.
