Fridge Freezer, fridge not working

Hi
Please can you help me? my fridge in my fridge and freezer has stopped working the temperature is the same as in the kitchen and my food has gone off. The freezer part of the fridge or freezer is working OK. I have checked that the defrost heater is not stuck on and then cleaned away the inside of the freezer which is now clear of any advice and. The fridge and freezer is 10 years old and is an indesit CG 1305.
Please can you help?

Could be it needs the thermostat control replacing. This is usually a long rod and can be easily replaced. If you can find a replacement as all the spare part places around here seem to be closing down. The throw away society don't change things any more

I was going to prepare a lengthy suggestion concerning the "air damper door", but it appears yours may not be equipped with that type of fridge cooling.... in looking up the parts for yours I came across this good possibility...
