last year I bought 4 min fruit trees in tubs, I think I have to mulch them this year, they have buds so far.
How much do I put round each tree and where is the best place to buy it ? theres a posh expensive garden centre not too far away and a B&Q even nearer.
Presume I will have some over can I place in my hanging baskets ? also a pal has told me that you must change the earth/compost in your hanging baskets and tubs every year is this so ? I am a keen beginner and would appreciate some advice.

It is recommended to put blood fish and bone around the base of the trees, so a good handful per tree I would have thought, and water in.
I always put a layer of garden compost on top of my indoor peach tree pot, don't know if it helps but I do get very nice fruit.

I would just add some green waste compost or some manure around the base of each tree as a mulch. It will keep the weeds down and improve the soil at the same time. Dont use a mulch in your hanging baskets or tubs and do replace the compost with fresh multi-purpose each year.
If you have got a lawn save your grass cuttings in a black plastic bin bag,tie the bags and let them rot down, and use that as a mulch.
