How to tidy up daffodils

My daffodils are starting to come to an end and I know that I shouldn't cut them back.
So does anyone have any good ideas about how I can make them tidy until they absorb all the goodness from the leaves?

the the leaves are sending energy back into bulb but you can fold them over

Really best to let them die back naturally, it`s only for six weeks and you can then cut them down to the ground,but give them a good feed and watering now to get good results next year.

I tie mine into a simple knot.

I have never been able to do that too well Prudie - they still endup looking like a bit of a mess!

I don't remove the leaves, after dead heading them, I just tie them gently into a knot, they look a bit tidier, the goodness needs to go back to the bulb, so son't take off the leaves!................

Alan Titchmarsh says never tie them in a knot, as the juices won`t go back into the bulbs. Seeee!!!!

I dead head mine but no tidying.

Monty Don said last week, don't even dead head, just leave them alone and clear away in July
