I bought a conifer which came in a very small pot and would like to transfer into a larger
one. I have looked a Homebase's website to see range of compost and kindly ask for advice as to which product to buy. There were so many to choose from and am not sure what to look for. Thanks

I think this would work fine for you, possibly adding a small amount of water gell crystals as well.

Don't forget to put a 'crock' over the hole in the bottom of your new pot :)
When re-potting a conifer do not be alarmed my white mould around the roots, the conifer and the mould have a symbiotic relationship and should not be removed.

Thanks to both of you. I see the product recommended got good reviews which is also reassuring. From where do I obtain water gell crystals ?
Will be using an aluminium or tin pot. In near future (when move house) hope to obtain
clay or ceramic pots as look so much nicer.
99p Store sells the gel crystals, or Garden Cntrs
