African Violet (Saint Paulia) fungus
I have some african violets grown from 'plugs' from nursery. Rainbow series. the first to come into flower is Limelight but all three have white 'bloom/mildew' on outer leaves. Any advice as to how to treat this would be welcome thanks

Prevent the condition by providing African violets with adequate air circulation and keep the humidity under 60 percent. Do you fertilize your plant? Make sure your plant container contains 1 part soil, 1 part sphagnum peat moss and 1 part perlite. The pH of the mixture should be 6.0 to 6.5. to raise the pH, add lime and to lower it, add sulfur. Fertilize with great care. Use a complete water-soluble fertilizer formulated for blooming houseplants.
