Can anyone identify this flowering plant?

My friend had this beautiful plant in her pot in the garden but she didn't know the name of it as it was a present. I think the flowers closed up at night and opened out in the sun. Does anyone know what plant this is please?

Looks like some kind of mesembrianthemum
They look to me like mesembryanthemums - open only in the sun.

Thank you so much everyone!! I think it looks like it is! I've never even heard of mese......but I'm going to google to see where I can buy one from now! You can't believe how long I've been trying to find pictures of it on the web and within a few minutes here, you've given me the answer! Thank you!
its one of the perennial varieties most people are more familiar with the annual bedding type
