an orchid requires a lot of air and light around the roots so a JI no 1 will not be suitable. Use a specialist orchid compost. I have not heard of a particular fungus required in the soil, I am not sure that is a fact.
if it is a moth orchid it would be better re-potted in bark chippings remember to get a see through pot as the 'roots' are actually capable of photosynthesis as they have chorophyll try to leave as many as possible exposed to light
