I am thinking of planting several compact Lavendar bushes in my front garden. After looking online I didnt realise that there are so many different varieties!
Please can someone recommend one that is nice?

Hidcote blue is a safe bet. Unless your roof dumps a considerable amount of snow on your new hedge, I'm hoping the thaw will reveal that they have survived!

Hidcote or munstead are good dwarf varieties. Lavendula spica is also worth thinking about
