We have this bush in the garden .When it comes into bloom it looks glorious and it's just starting now .However I have no idea what it is . It was here when we moved in nearly nine years ago .
Any offers ?

Evenin' all...well it's been much milder today, I've even had the heating off but it's going on very soon. The bad news is the change has given me a sinus headache....grrrr.
I did a sainsbury's order yesterday and it arrived at quarter to nine this morning. Lovely cheeful delivery man, it's a great service, it's so helpful, there was no way I was going out yesterday, it stayed foggy/misty.
Good to see you got some help too shaney, had you dabbed some Evening in Paris behind your ears? :)

Welcome to the dizzy pill club neti, hope you feel better soon, with that concoction you'll be floating on air.

Those are beautiful shaney, well done you...that's a lot of stitches and a lot of yarn :)

yes there are nice people in the world :) Shaney those throws are lovely, I can barely knit plain without tying myself in knots. Neti i am glad you went to the mexico. Do take it easy.
I cleaned out my goldfish pond ready for winter today....the pump has died so had to sit down and get amazon to rush me one here...if its not one animal its another!
Shaney they are lovely. However do you manage it??
Well I've eaten up a storm tonight so things are on the up.

I knitted them on a circular needle ,but back and forth not round and round.
There were 225 stitches and 14 repeat patterns .One is aran and one chunky.Just something to do of evening while I watch tele.
I just watched In Plain Sight .What with that and Rillington Place it's enough to give you the heebie jeebies.I hope there's something more cheerful on at Christmas.
Lol..Robinia.I was glad I'd put some slap on before tottering out :)
Night all ,sleep tight .

Morning...very mild but very dark. I ache like hell, my hands hurt so much first thing I couldn't even pick up the gin bottle :) Maybe a bit of nitting (haha, leaving that typo) would grease the joints, I started a cardi last winter but wasn't too pleased, I might unpick it and start again.

I wasn't in the mood for In Plain Sight but I loved the Lucy Worsley Six Wives.

Haven't got a clue what to buy Snowflake and Moondust for xmas. I've told Tarquin if he can't give me an idea I'll give them Play-Doh, poster paints and giant selection boxes. :) I don't want to buy what they already have.

Morning all
Same here with the aches and it's dull and damp out there .I think I prefer dry and cold .
I liked Lucy's programme with the six wives. She makes it very interesting.
The costumes are great.
Robi.....drums and whistles!!
I haven't watched Queen Lucy yet but I hope she gets to dress up a lot. I have put the whole series on to record in case I forget. I am frantically writing Christmas cards to be sent to to the poor and needy abroad, many of them with calendars in case they don't have ipads to tell them what day it is.
Its still pitch black here....do we think the world is ending?
Morning. All yes I was going to suggest drums and trumpets.
I overslept today. Mr N is homentoo asbits the immaculate conception, a big fiesta!
I watched Lucy but kept falling asleep. It was good.
My days of knitting are long gone.
peers round No, all asleep (or up early and out doing their Christmas shopping).
Well my body isn't asleep but my brain is...when it isn't racing that is. I think I'm seasonally disordered.
Pouring down here weather I love and I'm stuck in bed. I have hung out some emergency washing bit back on bed now. I get up for q couple of hours later when the fire is on. Slowly getting better. Mr N had to go to Post office early for mW to finally post things to Oz, Canada, and USA as time is running out. Not for me i hope, but Xmas!!

Morning all
I was up early but it takes a while for me to get going...back and forth to the kettle and tea caddy.Another damp and dreary day by the look of it.
I'm not seasonally disordered I'm just disorderly :)
I've just put some veg and frankfurters in the slow cooker for Mr N as he gets so tired and I feel guilty. Should be OK. Back in bed again. Little by little.
Well!! Someone in the still of the night has been eating the Xmas Roses chocolates which I bought !!!
Question Author
That's dreadful Neti .Must have been a naughty elf who needed a sugar rush.
Ha but I've tricked, I've eaten some too!!
Feels heaps better. Have had a potter round tidying up but not exactly cleaning. Am dressed and in lounge.
hello all. it was my early start day today so the boys are out when the bottle lorry comes...we go out around 6.45, shop at the local marks and sparks and drive home again....it leaves us all zonked though.
