Can I move an small azalea now? It was transplanted from our old garden 5 yrs ago but hasn't thrived. It flowered this spring & I'd like to move it to another garden asap, will it stand a fighting chance of surviving?

With the weather we are having at the moment you are probably alright to do it as my gardening book says if you cant do it in autumn choose a cool time.We havent had anything else.
Also make sure that your soil is acid. If it was OK in your previous garden, but hasn't thrived in this current one, it might be that it will only grow well in a pot filled with ericaceous compost.
