Poor Apple Season

Here in Norfolk, I've had almost no apples from a tree which last year gave masses of apples, other trees have also looked sparse. How have people in other parts of the country fared?

Cherries, Damsons and apples have been terrible this year. Hardly any crop at all. (NW Leics)

Even in north of France the fruit yield is poor this year. However, raspberries are plentiful.

Don't know about apples but our nectarine has not done very well at all. It's only a dwarf tree but for the last 4 years we've had several kilo nice sweet fruit. This year despite having loads of blossom, quite a lot of which set we've only had three ripen,on the other hand the dwarf cherry we've got did ok.

Mine's the same Zebo, I have a cooking apple tree that's usually heaving with fruit, this summer I've had about a dozen apples, all inedible.

Vic plums, damsons, apple eaters & cookers r abundant. Nowt on tom, beans or courgetes. Hazlenuts & walnut trees were loaded till squirrels invaded

I mentioned to the OH a couple of months ago that his neighbour's apple trees looked sparse this year and they have been. I'm in Yorkshire.

Hardly any here in my garden in South Wales. Last year e had so many. There were about ten on the tree I was waiting to pick but they disappeared. I don't think anyone got over the fence which is very high. We do have five chickens who are the main suspects! Is that possible? Anyone know?
