Roses Pruning

when do i prune my shrub roses they are starting to bud even though it is cold i am UK base

Between November and March. I give them a light pruning in Nov and am more strict in March! Altho I have given some a quick snip in Feb when we had those nice sunny days.

Really, you should only prune the dead canes and maybe those tht come together i the middle of the bush... pruning those will promote air circulation and help avoid Black Spot or other fungii...
