Good morning !
Can anyone please give me advice on what to plant in my small border that will not be affected by my 2 cats? I tried Broom - but it died, I had 2 hydrangeas - they died, roses seem fine, and I have a thriving Buddlea. I need something to fill in the gaps thats not harmful to the cats, but at the same time is very hardy. My 1 metre wide border is up against a high wall and is semi shaded. Any hints would be gratefully recieved!

I don't know how to help you. I have broom, and hydrangeas, and three cats. The cats don't affect the shrubs. Holly?

Hello boxtops -
I have already got a 3 ft high holly, and yes they do stay clear of it - I just wanted to put some colour into the courtyard so on reflection I think I will just get another couple of roses and some lavander. (So hard to get a rose with a lovely perfume over here in France!) And as they have spikes I expect the cats will stay away.
Thanks so much for answering.
Heather ? Hebe ? Euonymus ?
