I have been given some LOV if I split the bulbs and then plant out in the garden will I double the crop next year?

yes..but better to contain them as they are rampant when they get hold..here anyway..but if you have a lot of ground to cover fine....I have them mixed with periwinkle in areas where I want such cover

Thanks MM - I want them to go rampant - I'm digging up bluebells to get them in there
My next door neighbour has loads in her front garden, they even come up in the gravel, I love them, we picked a bunch and took them to the florist to be included in my daughters wedding bouquet, as I had them in mine.
Now every year on her anniversary I pick her a bunch, usually they flower on time. Hope yours do OK

Well I had a few in my garden before and now I have quite a few more bulbs - so hopefully - fingers crossed I will have loads next year
I might plant some in a pot for Mum to enjoy next year - maybe with some Lavender to look nice inbetween
Got some from a friend a couple of years ago and sorry I ever planted them. They are rampant and are even coming up through my lawn. Job for the autumn - dig at least half of them out along with bluebells and grape hyacinths. Look lovely but get everywhere.
