Freezing Tonight - Cover Your Plants

As in the title, look after your tender plants, especially those coming into bud at present ...

Not forecast to freeze where I am, but will dip into the 30s. No expert on gardening but I have already seen my cuttings opt out of life earlier this year. Everything now is either indoors, or outside under a lid. Does the year ever heat up enough for plants not to decide to give up the ghost outside ?

Tinight I just rescued a potted azalea in bud that would have been wrecked. I've lost a couple of old favourites in the past few months - I blame that 40C day last year for that.
