No rhyme or reason to it - but I find emptying the dishwasher a bit of a bind. I don't mind loading it though. ;o)
I've just spent a frustrating few minutes trying to clean a mysterious mark from the edge of my ceramic hob - and then realised it was a narrow streak of sunlight reflecting on it. Thought it was hard to shift! Derrr ....
I'm fortunate that I only have to shave a couple of times a week, but even at just twice a week I can't stand it.
Re: the dishwasher - Mrs DD and I passively-aggressively change the way sharp pointed knives should be loaded. I think the point should face down, she thinks up; they will be changed any number of times before the dishwasher is eventually switched on.
DD, that happens with toilet rolls in our house - not that they go in the dishwasher. I put them so they roll 'over' and then find them changed to roll 'under'. Really annoying!
Sharp knives definitely point down in the dishwasher.
Cleaning the oven. I have one of those marvellous pyro self cleaning ones, but I hate cleaning the metal rails and taking the door apart. Well Mr. Sam does that. All in all takes only a couple of hours, but takes me weeks to get in the mood.
Mine are emptying the dishwasher and putting away laundered clothes though I don't mind the actual ironing! I also put the knives facing downwards in the dishwasher
