I seem to have a swarm of wild garlick plants spreading across my, not very tidy, lawn. Is there anything I can do about this, or should I just ignore it and carry on mowing at my usual seasonal rate of once a week ?

Hi derekpara,
This can be a very difficult weed to get rid of when it gets into borders but it would surprise me if it would survive regular mowing even if it reproduces itself from bulbs rather than seed, I think the plant would become exhausted but I may be wrong. All the Best Tbird+

Thanks, Tbird. Your suggestion is probably the solution. Unfortunately, I shall most likely have to double or treble my mowing just to make sure - not a pastime I enjoy. And I hate the smell of garlick !! Happy New Year.
