seedlings fall over
I planted Marigold seeds in good potting soil, in the 4 packs, placed them in the black plastic starting trays and watered them monday, 5 days later ,they were abt 1inch tall, but it,s like they rotted right at the soil line and fell over. what am i doing wrong ?

The cause may be too much water, over-crowding or lack of venilation.
iIf you try again go easy on the watering!, prick them out when they are big enough to handle and give them some fresh air occaisionally.
Tip, As they are easily germinated, you can sow them very thinly, this will save on thinning out later on Good Luck Tbird+
