i keep killing the box topiary bushes that im buying to samrten up the entrance to my home, any ideas on what im doing wrong and more importantly, any tips on how to look after them properly? its costing me a small fortune!! many thanks
If you have them growing in tubs, it's imperative never to let them dry-out!
As well as keeping them well supplied with water (rain water if possible) give the a granular, slow release fertilizer as directed.
As with many evergreen shrubs, they can be pruned in late spring and summer but not when frosts are forcast.
Turning the tubs occaisionally should keep them looking good and uniform. Good Luck Tbird+
