Bind weed

this is the bane of my life and I am forever pulilng it out of my hedge - is there anythign I cna do to get rid of it more permanently - its roots are impossible to pull out as they go on forever!

It's a tedious task but well worth it to get a bind weed free garden. This year; cut off the top of the bindweed and leave about 6 inches of each and lay it where you can spray it with glyphosate weedkiller (this kills all it touches) leave for about a month or two (the bindweed will have shrivelled up) before pulling up. Next year in spring; as soon as you see any bind weed poking through the soil give it a blast of the weed killer. Good luck!
