Can anyone recommend a copper-gold climbing rose for a west-facing wall, please? I would like one with fragrance and that repeat flowers.
Thanks.

Have you tried the search facility at David Austin roses here:

I've just bought a "Lady Hillingdon" which is pretty close to what you describe but it's more yellow than copper.

Check out the size that you want it to grow to. It's listed in the individual description of the roses

Crown Princess Margareta Clg might be good but it's only about 6-8ft or possibly Compassion 10ft.

Both of those are classed as apricot rather than Copper Gold. Bouquet d'or is more coppery http://www.rosegathering.com/bouquet.html

Thanks. I've posted another query on Home and Garden general page as I've seen a rose I really like in 'The Rose Expert'. 'Mrs Sam McCready' but can't find a supplier.
I think that's because you may be spelling it wrong I think it's Mrs. Sam McGredy

You can get that from David Austin

But the site says it has no fragrance

Yes, you're right about the spelling!
In the book this rose is described as 'fragrant'; it's so beautiful and just the colour I want so I'll probably give it a go and plant another very fragrant rose nearby.
Thanks for your help.
We recently bought "Chris" for my M&D because they wanted a yellow rose. It doesn't climb too much and looks stunning!
