Yellow leaves

Recently in my hanging basket, some petunia leaves have changed to yellow.

1) Does anyone know why this is?
2) How to cure the problem?

could be too much watering or rain is washing away the nutrients in the soil or compost. I have found liquid tomato food is great for hanging baskets.
