How to keep mold/weeds away from in between cobbles?

I am about to do the very tedious job of removing mold and weeds from in between hundreds of cobbles on my drive - once i've done this, does anybody know of a product to put down to stop this from happening again? or at least so it wont be as bad this time?

Do you mean moss and weeds in block paving? If so, I quite like to see a bit of moss in block paving! Weeds will always appear in the less trafficked areas as the blocks are 'sand jointed' and seeds will germinate between the blocks. We spray every 5 or six weeks with Roundup, which knocks out the seedlings at and early stage. We dont like residual weedkillers as they can run off into the drains, water courses and beds. If you really want to get rid of the moss, then there's plenty of moss killers on the market.

we use pathclear on our block paved drive and paths.
no need to 'weed out' the weeds or moss, just follow the instructions (mix the sachets with water in a watering can) and after a few days all will be gone.
we do ours twice a year and it keeps it all clear.

A weak solution of bleach will also do the trick but you will need to do it regularly, just put it on with watering can. Don't go drowning everything in bleach though and keep it out of the waterways etc.

thanks guys,. all the moss etc has gone now and it looks like new again - i'd like to keep it this way. so thanks for your advice.
i'll give the pathclear and or bleach solution a try.
