Poor soil
Would anyone know what I could buy for ground cover for an area of poor soil in a shady spot. Must be a perennial.

Lots of flowering varieties and scented flowers on some .
They grow pretty quickly and are easy to keep tidy and as long as you keep them well watered give a lovely show all summer long ..

Camellias like the shade as well as the sun and are easy to grow. The acer, maple and the green one likes the shade as well, also easy to grow, the shrub, not the tree. Muscari bulbs grow well in shade and naturalise well if left alone. You could plant Bleeding Hearts, or even Host plants. I have all these plants mentioned growing in the shade and they are all growing well.Hope this helps.
