My acer tree is in trouble
I have a small, red ornamental acer tree, about 5 years old, always been healthy, but in the last 6-8 weeks the leaves have gone dry, cracked, brown and curling up. I cannot see any disease. It looks like drought, but it's not, as we've had so much rain. If anything, the ground is often waterlogged. Does anyone know what the problem is and what I can do about it?

Neither gets sun or wind. I did use tap water on the 8" pot one when my water butts were empty & I suspect this may have been the cause. Another problem can be using too much fertiliser which will cause the plant to dehydrate, in which case if it`s in a pot try to rinse it out.
