acer trees

i have around 30 acer trees, various types, they are all in large pots, the disectum trees for some reason, dont grow very well at all, they are not pot bound and i keep them well watered during the growing season, is there any specific feed i should give them? kind regards.

I am not sure what soil/compost you should grow Acers in,but it might be that?
Also where are the pots standing(shade/sunlight/wind/rain?).
I would "Google" Acers/Maples+Cultivation and see what comes up.

they are in ericacious soil, which is recomended. the pots are also protected from the sun, i think they probably need a real good feed. many thanks for your comments.
