Leylandii - Red & Dead?
We have a large hedge around our house of Leylandii trees which are about 8 feet tall.
Last summer a large section of the trees turned brown in large areas and growth appears to have stopped.
They are not dead as fresh growth is apparent mainly at the top but also odd new shoots are visible.
We are giving the trees another summer to see if they pick up but is there anything I can do to promote health and accelerate re-growth?
Any professional advice would be welcome.

They wont come back where dead, but could you pull round a few good branches and tie them in at 30deg or so? Keep trees watered and a good mulch of compost. Worth a go, I have done this in the past and had success - might just work!!
