It's quite easy to pull up by roots - do it before it gets the fluffy seed heads or you'll have loads more next year! Otherwise, I guess roundup will do it.

the catch is that all your neighbours have to pull it up too as the fluffy weeds fly miles. Its also one of those weeds that stay dormant in the ground for years and are stimulated to grow by disturbing the earth - like poppies, so if you are digging new soil, you will be seeing the burst of old seed.
