Planting in a Porcelain sink
hi. I have an old porcelain sink I used as a planting container last year in my garden. I planted the sink in the ground so the base of the sink in underground and the top rim and head of the sink above ground. The shrub I planted inside of the sink last year did not return this year. I am looking for creative ideas I can use to make my sink more attractive in the garden...I really do not want to throw my sink out..lol.

A min Zen garden is an option too Just fine gravel and nicely positioned rocks with maybe the odd clump of something green like a selaginella and maybe small conifer pruned to look like a bonsai tree but that will need maintenance
It looks really nice if you leave a 'stream bed' of gravel with a few larger pebbles running through the planting scheme Did this in a large shallow trough when I had a roof garden and surrounded the planter on three sides with ferns and hostas to frame it
