Thank you boxtops but no the answer I was looking for. The runner beans are at the flower stage and and I heard somewhere that there was something I shuld be doing at this stage. Any costructive suggestions much appreciated I am a novice gardener

you can just spray them with water to aid polination otherwise let the bees do it

fin --runner beans like to be well watered regularly, and misted with water spray as Hawk has said.Good luck Brenda.
