The field that we are converting into a wild garden was 12ft high in brambles, no one had been in the field for over 40 years, I had to use a chainsaw just to get through the gate, not a single blade of grass survived due to the lack of light at ground level, now that the light is hitting the ground we are struggling to keep the nettles back. We are winning slowly :-)

I do weed my garden, but I must admit that if the weeds are attractive one, then I leave them there, I don't like my garden to look too manicured.............I think it's so much more interesting if it looks a little wild!..............
