interior design wallpapering question
Our two reception rooms are pretty square in shape and not large, but with high ceiling. It was built in approx 1910 and its a terraced house that before the single story kitchen / bathroom extension was built on, was simply 2 up, 2 down, if that helps to picture the style of rooms.
The rooms have just been re-skimmed and painted magnolia. I've picked (not bought yet) a teal / magnolia flowery paper and a lovely teal solid colour paper with large textured pattern. What I cant decide is whether to;
a) paper just the chimney breast in flowery paper,
b) paper the chimney breast and recesses in matching flowery paper,
c) paper the chimney breast in the solid colour with flowers in the recesses,
d) paper the chimney breast in flowery paper with solid colour in the recesses.
Any budding interior designers who can advise?
