Light reflecting paint from dulux palest aqua, highlights of white and deeper aqua white ceiling and gloss heavy on the diamante accessories and use a plastic chandelier to bounce even more light around an give a glitzy touch
No expert but I'm unconvinced a choice of colour is likely to create that illusion. Mirrors all over one wall (mirror tiles maybe ?) might do the trick.
No probs and good look with the finished result, I love to see a room have a make over .
I once had the red phase and made an x decorate my bathroom red and white might sound yuk but it looked fantastic even had red and white towels.
I have a very light shade on the teal/duck egg spectrum, teamed with white and a little touch of heathery purple in the towels. A friend of mine says that that paint - I think it is a dulux one - that is supposed to give an illusion of space does work pretty well, it must have some kind of reflective bits in it I think.
My bathroom is really small but I have floor to ceiling tiles on the bath/shower wall....and the rest of the room is tiled halfway...all in white. The walls are painted dark purple. It looks really nice.
