Light fitting attachment

I was give a 3 bulb light fitting yesterday.
It fits straight to the ceiling but needs a metal bar attachment to screw on to
Where can I get one

Surely any necessary bar comes with the fitting ?
You could try the DIY sheds local to you to see if they have anything suitable.

They are all different sizes as well. It wouldn't be a huge job to make one up. Just a strip of thin steel turned up at the ends, with some holes drilled in it.

I think the fact it was missing is the reason they have me it
I will try to pick one up from ikea failing that I suspect the sparky who is fitting it will have one

I am sure a 'sparky' will find a way around the problem. He'll probably have a few odd items amongst 'bits and pieces' he has retained from jobs he has done.
