I am lookin to purchase a new 3 seater sofa and single chair with a fairly modern look, there are some nice ones on both the above mentioned websites and I wonder if anyone has had any experiences with either company.

However, my parents bought a fabric one just before Christmas and the cushions have already gone very flat... despite them only using it in the evenings for a couple of hours.
Whatever you decide to do, don't take out the insurance they offer you.
I used to work for the company that supplied it, and it's a complete waste of money!

We bought three leather settees in oak frames for our lounge from DFS over ten years ago and to my disgust they will NOT wear out. I want new ones but Mr BD says these will have to last. They are too low for me to be comfy as I would prefer a higher seat with a bit more back support but I can't fault them on quality. Have seen some G-Plan ones that I would like so I will have to work on him.
I'll have a look on their website in a sec, just gotta sort dinner out first... :)
They phoned them to complain, but they were told they wouldn't do anything about "wear and tear". They were only a month old at this point!
However, like I said, my old sofa was from DFS and we had no problems with that at all... and it was used far more than my parents!

DFS furniture used to be of top quality (built in Belgium) we had one just like Bakers dozen. Oak framed and built to last, my parents had it 6 years we had it another 7 in our first house. I gave it away to an old lady, she is still using it some 20 years later and it is still in fantastic condition. Now.....they seem to be built out of old orange crates (both DFS & CLS) I have to say CLS do get someone out quickly to deal with any complaints.
We now have a new sofa every other year :0/
