I don't want to get it so clean that I might be tempted to eat my dinner of it, but just a bit cleaner than it is. Have used bleach without the desired effect. Would Brillo pads do the trick?
oh sandy did you have diamaria - time for a new loo - I would never attempt it - as you can eat your dinner of mine - I clean mine everytime I go to loo - maybe a bit of ocd regarding this -
Sandy....when we were having bother with my mum and her cleaning we used Harpic in a black bottle...best I can tell you....and it was a sheer fluke...must have been on offer. Because she refused to flush the loo it stayed in the bowl for a good while and worked really well.
you could use the hard side of those scouring pads along with CIF cream - I personally throw every thing in - you know what - why don;t you try ordinary washing powder with the scourer - they wouldnt scratch so much
limescale remover is by far the best when left overnight.
But quicker and easier than that is one of them green scourers.
Old rubber gloves and a firm hand wipe along the bottom around the bowl and hey, cleaned in a flash.
