Marks On Floor Tiles

I have taken a carpet up, and there are marks left by the double sided sticky tape.

Can anyone suggest a way of removing them.?

I have scraped off the tape, but the glue marks are still there.

Nail varnish remover? Try a little bit first..... or WD40?

Lighter fluid.

Years ago there was a product called Scotch Clean Art. Then I couldn't get it, so switched to lighter fluid. Its the same thing!

You may need to let it sit on the mark few a few minutes.


As always test on an unseen area.

I'd recommend De-Solv-it Sticky Stuff Remover.

Nail varnish remover or white spirit - depends on the sort of adhesive.
