I want to add colour to my lounge as main colours are:
walls: jasmine white/calico
daddo rail: pine
flooring: beech laminate
sofa: chocolate brown - cushions: cream
curtains: chocolate brown

I want to accessorize but not sure what colours to go for, i.e. lamp base/shade, vases, paintings etc.

Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I agree. Mint green goes very well with those colours

think of nature and food
also a deep red almost maroon would go well
i think either a vibrant neon pink would go really well with the the rest of the colours and would give a fresh modern feel. Or you could go for a really light baby blue colour for a more chilled relaxing atmosphere. Baby pink could work but could be tricky.simple black of grey definately also work for a safer more sophisticated alternative.Navy is also a god option

Many thanks everyone for your suggestions. Kind regards Giselle
Bright orange or bright red
I would say some shade of green - would bring a pop of colour!
A deep turquoise blue works wonderfully with chocolate if you're feeling brave. However, as long as you use it as an accent via accessories, etc, it should be very easy to change in the future for relatively little cost if you get tired of it, or don't like it.

An alternative is to use variations of the colours that you already have but vary the textures of the accessories to make a subtle but definite change; for example, mohair throws, suede/leather cushions, wooden vases, etc.

None of these below!! Green goes lovely if you put in a couple of green leafy plants. The only other colour is royal blue but not as much as the leafy green.
I have a similar coloured lounge (bar the Jasmine).
One easy tip to remember is think 'chocolate box' - browns, creams, caramels and golds.
If you want a 'wow!' factor perhaps lime would do the trick. If more subtle peach to terracotta.
well as an interior decorater and property developer i would recomend a soft pastl pink on example a chimeny breast.

also you could find some wallpaper with a gordie priint on it with brown, pink, and cream on in, glynn webb aren't too bad.

A good deep crimson red would be a nice idea but only on one wall as you'll close the room in, or maybe try and find red and cream in a wallpaper.

A friend of mine has used shots of deep scarlet red (in soft furnishings etc) and it looks fantastic. It's a bit braver than going for a pastel tone but looks really modern yet harmonious (if that makes sense!) Good luck with whichever one you choose.
All of the above but only pick one! the result will be stunning!
baby blue
Red was my first answer, but now that I think about it, mint green is a good colour too.

Use red if you want the room to look warm and a bit daring, or mint green if you want it to look calm and feel cool.
Paprika, Terracotta, Burnt Umber
baby/duck egg blue. i;ve just done that colour scheme in my living room and it looks lush!
