bay window

Hi, i have a modern taste in furnishings and decor but im stuck with what to put up at my lounge bay window, i did want vertical blinds but have been told i cant use them on a bay window, any ideas please.

Why can't you use vertical blinds on a bay window? I have fitted several for a well known blind company that advertises on tele.

Im not sure, is it because my bay is square?

i have a curved header rail for my bay window and the vertical blinds. yours maybe have to have seperate rails ie for the 2 sides and 1 central window but these shouldnt be a problem for fittng vertical blinds. hope this helps.

Hi, I have a square bay window and I have had vertical blinds put in mine. I then cut an ordinary plastic curtain rail in two and screwed them around the two 'outside' corners and hung a pair of really long curtains (3" header tape pulled really tight) The curtains do not close but look really effective.

Hi, does having both blinds and curtains really look ok, could you send me a picture of what it looks like as i cant see how it would look good, not that it dosnt dont get me wrong, would that be possible, i will forwrd address to you. xx
