Hi, Im looking for a piece of funiture to put in the hall, it would need to be beech coloured wood, wicker or something similar, not too deep so it doesn't overtake the space and perhaps with a couple of drawers, can anyone help with ideas where I might find such a unit or table, thanks.

There are some hall tables, that are not too deep, in the current Cotswold Company mail order book. They have a few stores dotted around the country.

Thankyou Madison68 I'll have a look.
If you have a radiator why not consider a wooden rad cover to match your beech wood and have covered shelves to match over, giving it a welsh dresser look without the depth.

Thanks frazerd for taking the time to reply. I do have a hall radiator but its on the opposite wall to the one I have some space. Thanks again
Try looking at sofa tables. Thjey are usually narrow in depth as the might be placed behind a sofa. My friend has one from ikea and it has some drawers and some open cubby spaces. She has it on the wall rather than behind the cofa.

Aww thanks EngTeach I'd had a quick scan on Ikea's website as my son works there but you've given me another idea to look for. Will tempt son (who's going on a late shift) out of bed with a bacon buttie to get him to guide me round the monster maze they call a store. Thanks again!
A small monks bench. We have a pine one & it is so useful & takes up very little space & is useful for storing shoes & bags. You can also sit on it to put your shoes on!
