How to remove biro pen from UPVC door!

Hi, can anyone please help... we have just redecorated our hallway and my darling 3 year old has drawn on the interior of our upvc front door with biro and I can't get it off! Any ideas on how to remove it... we have tried soapy water and baby wipes but no joy!

I removed biro marks from upvc frame with Astonish paste cleaner which is available from Wilkos if you have one nearby. Its in a tub about 85p. hope this helps.

Try methylated spirit (avoiding open flame). Test an inconspicuous bit first. If you cannot finds Meths, try Vodka.

No scraping or chemicals, first try the mark-remover pads which are by Vanish or one of those. They are a type of microfibre foam that you use damp and it's AMAZING
My local Coop sells them, don't know about other supermarkets.

I answered a similar question earlier today, following a tip from another Aber. Biro comes off leather and some other materials if you spray hairspray onto it, wait for a few seconds and then wipe off - but I don't know about on UVPC. Maybe you could try a small patch on an out-of-sight area first.

I clean all my doors and upvc with dishwasher tablets disolved in hot water. if fact i use that to clean pretty much everything. Haven't tried it on biro, but it certainly removes felt pen!

Biro ink is soluble in alcohol,use this carefully to dab off ,followed by a mild abrasive such as T-cut or even toothpaste!Finally give the whole area a polish.

I've used Brasso wadding to remove biro on a photo so it may be okay to use iy on yir door

cif brings most things off upvc (the thick, cream one). try it on a small area first.
